Jump Rope: K through 12
The main pic of the The Atlanta Falcons Youth Fitness Contest: 60 Ways to Play 60, shows wide receiver Michael Jenkins (#12)(OSU) doing push-ups with two young boys.
Here's a pic of push-ups, Tanzania Style, at Mbuyuni, outside of Dar es Salaam:

Training for jump rope, a good way to help fight youth obesity in Georgia.
But is it as good for K as it is for 12? Can the youngest kids benefit? Check this: my two young nieces learning jump rope on the family farm in Ohio:

Jump rope is a life long sport - from kids to star jumpers to boxers and football players in training!

HEY! we all miss you so much! hope your having a blast in Africa. it looks like the kids are doing amazing there, jumping like pros. The Tanzanian style pushups look like amys.
And i would say any age benefits from jump rope. There are adults over 50 doing it and they all love it. It keeps them healthy and the heart pumping.
Much love from Ohio:.)
