The Good Earth Singers (GES) is an organization dedicated to buildi local community through song, and empower that community to take positive action to improve the local and global environment. GES’s mission is to develop and support the songful celebration of our common humanity and our deep, devotional connection to the earth. GES helps anyone, regardless of experience and background, learn how to offer his/her voice in service and celebration of this loving earth on which we live. No dues or fees are required for membership, all are welcome.
Reason:
I've seen the benefits of GES in our community, and want to see those benefits spread throughout New England. The response to GES and its mission by the local community is enthusiastic and energetic. New England will benefit greatly with a local GES chapter in each local community. This grant will assist tremendously in spreading GES throughout the region. GES is steadily expanding a non-violent, heart-centered global environmental movement through song. Its mission is to leverage the power of the human voice and song to shape the course of planetary history by reestablishing a healthy, sustainable, life-giving relationship relationship between humanity and the earth. GES is reconnecting humanity with the earth, one voice at a time.
