At VC4Africa we are dedicated to building a platform and community that supports entrepreneurs building businesses in Africa. We believe the organization should be transparent, the platform Should be open source and membership and information for free. Furthermore we believe that anyone anywhere in the world should be able to contribute in some meaningful way. By leveraging the power of the crowd we can actually vet entrepreneurs and their business ideas needed to generate a viable pipeline ready for investment.
Looking at our ideas and application how can we improve our ideas and make them better?
I have been a member of VC4Africa since February 2009. I first signed on at VC4Africa.com and soon thereafter became a volunteer officer. I help manage their LinkedIn group and am involved in strategic planning discussions.
VC4Africa has been nurtured by its founder Ben White, who has impressively backed his passion for Africa and the power of social technologies with his own personal financial resources. Ben is a leader, who has attracted technologists from all corners of Africa to collaborate on this entry. Their ideas deserve support.
