The basic day to day routine work activities releasing enormous amount of pressure can be fruitfully used to drive power using the natural tendency of some elements.

We have devised simple sandwich structure that uses the routine pressure and gets activated . This can be miniaturized to be small enough to fit into a shoe as MOBILE SHOE CHARGER whose need and demand is clear from the below stats.
India has total 800 million cellular subscribers (TRAI 2010). Lets say 50 % of them have 24-7 power supply to charge their cell phones. We still got a market of 400 million and increasing to cater with our product.

Breaking down the market we find that there are 60,000 dabbawalas existing currently in the Mumbai .

Another major segment is the music loving tech savvy youth of the country, which needs ear phones plugged in during most time of the day.

The fact says that the smarter the phone weaker the battery life so this technology can be a life line to them.

This shall prove to be excellent companions for the trekkers and adventure loving people who love spending quality time away from the concrete jungle but once a while need an update about the happenings even during the tour . The shoe charger shall benefit one and all equally.

This way not only mobiles but any types of batteries can be charged in with the amount of required pressure delivered. The assembly can be demodulated on larger scale so as to make it a stand alone power supply device.

Problem

During a symposium in VJTI- Mumbai /India, on Green technology I came across the power supply scenario prevalent in India. These statistics reassured me that my concept is capable of answering this grooving problem.  78 million households (44%) in the country do not have access to electricity  1,25,000 villages are un-electrified  Electricity supply situation is generally poor in even electrified villages. These figures made me work on more rigorously as it showed a mass uncovered area waiting to be explored. The bright edge of technological advancements is turning slowly into the dark due to acute power shortage. lack of power supply or rampant power faliures have led to serious hazards on both human and industries . Villages having acute power shortages have been detected with various children having retinal disorders as they have to bear kerosene lamps day in and day out. Its a curse that adds to the pain of old age and ill people . Power cut during crucial works result into delays. The use of diesel invertors is not possible for all as it is too costly. The cities are then lighten up at the cost of village powers. Remote regions of Vidarbha have power cuts ranging from 6 to 12 hours a day .

Solution

Some crystals posses natural property of delivering charge when fractured with out breaking them . Using this property of the crystal we can create mats that could be used as flooring to be placed on areas where continuous activities are carried out. This assembly can be compressed small enough to be fit into the shoe in the form of MOBILE SHOE CHARGER and at the same time can be modulated big enough to be stand alone power supply for a premise. The crystals are naturally available and can be easily molded as per need and demand of the supply. The sandwich assembly is easy to install and does not requires re engineering of the installed light circuit. These mats can be directly placed upon the existing flooring and still will not cause any inconceivability to the passers by. This is clean source of power that generates no by products during the generation . It is 100% ecofriendly and doesn't contribute to global warming. The best part of the solution is that it is economic and user friendly in installation . This application can be moulded on various levels according to the need of power at the arena. The only minimal requirement is there should be apt pressure as per the need of the place.

Example

Solar needs the mercy of bright sun . Same with wind and other renewable resources which are greatly dependent on nature. How about a renewable source of power generation that is totally under human control. We may not have nature's mercy every where , but one thing that is omnipresent is pressure. Where ever there are any activities carried on we goto have pressure their . If you use system assembly that drives out power each time you put pressure on it . Cant we use it as in our wish and demand . Lets clear it through this example . If we place the sandwiched assembly of the circuits on places of heavy movements like railway stations , joggers parks , college aisles and industrial premises as flooring . The passing movements will create pressure thus activate the system. This assembly can be the connected to storage batteries to accumulate power and drive it as per the need. The shoe charger circuit can be directly inserted into the shoes.

Marketplace

The competition is not an issue of botheration because , the field chosen by my team of power generation is an ever increasing and on demand field. As far as the challenges are considered so i feel it would rather be more on the customer side for their approval to this entirely new avenue to solve their day to day power crises. One more issue is the companies moving towards green and coming up with varied alternatives of renewable power generation. The settled players are far in reach with market bonding and customer know how , so the best way would be to make a hands on deal with them and to get on to their flow . That may hamper a bit but again looking at the ground we are catering there is a great scope and mass avenue to be explored. If we walk the talk we are pretty sure looking at the need of the day we can make a stand in the market.
