Has UNICEF commited to using a video produced by the Pittsburgh Children's museum?
How will children be chosen for participation? Will an effort be made to have participation reflect the demographics of Pittsburgh or the United States, in 2016 or now?
What, if anything, will be done to insure that the proposed focus on involving "underprivileged" children does not miss an opportunity to build relationships (and future networking and referral opportunities) between children across the spectrum of socio-economic classes?
UNICEF has committed to a partnership with the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh.
Youth from our teen programs will make up the core of particpants. These programs run all year long - during the school year students from the local public schools are involved and during the summer they are joined by youth from outlying communities. They reflect Pittsburgh demographics.
Thanks! Chris Siefert, Deputy Director, Children's Museum of Pittsburgh
