Dear Steven,

Thank you for submitting your entry!

The Changemakers team is excited about your strategy to create a social finance community platform that bridges the gap between common interest groups as a way to provide direct micro loans.

We would like to learn more about the unique qualities of your organization. For instance, how does Zimple Inc. differ from other person to person lending organizations, such as Kiva? Do you work or partner with Kiva? Could you also provide more detail about how you envision the startup process and how you plan to form critical partnerships? We are interested in the development of your business plan. How do you plan on implementing your idea?

Since the judges spend more time reading the entry form than the comments, please also update your entry in addition to responding to our questions and other comments, it would be great if you could also update your entry form with the additional information. This will provide the panel of expert judges with the most comprehensive explanation.

Thanks so much! We look forward to learning more.

Best wishes,

The Changemakers Team

Great questions!

ZimpleMoney enables "naturally occurring" social networks to manage micro-lending programs. A ZimpleMoney community is a private and transparent network, which encourages continuous engagement between recipients, the sponsoring organization, contributing lenders, and its members.

Sponsoring organizations or its members can self-select people or groups and collaborate with other organizations that match the organizations mission.

ZimpleMoney can certainly partner and collaborate with Kiva.

ZimpleMoney is establishing partnerships with non-profits, NGO's, charities and church-based organizations to accomplish three goals: 1) build network membership with socially conscience people with financial capacity, 2) partner with established social organizations, and 3) create triad-based relationships between people and organizations with common interests.

We are testing the ZimpleMoney web-based platform and plan to launch mid-October 2008.

We are implementing the idea - we are signing up partners: banks, credit unions, securities companies, non-profits, NGO's, domestic agencies and church-based groups. We adding members to the network through ought the test phase. Complete the contact information on the ZimpleMoney website and be invited to join when we go live.

ZimpleMoney delivers a "triple bottom line." First, ZimpleMoney is valuable because it is creating a social network with a purpose; it is a profit based and sustainable business model. Second, ZimpleMoney enables naturally occurring networks to facilitate and manage micro-loans that support an organizations unique purpose and mission. Third, the micro-loans themselves serve to improve economic sustainability and the quality of life for diverse peoples throughout the world.

We have a business plan available for review.
