SEVASHRAM is a charitable Society engaged in developing a sustainable life community at the micro level and develop the potentialities of ordinary people engaging themselves in agriculture and allied activities and impose and motivate people belonging to the target group regardless of caste,creed or political affiliations to organise themselves into informal peoples micro credit cooperatives. Sevashram is involved in serving the poor and the marginalised villagers through promoting and strengthening their community based organisations in order to enhance opportunities for employment, income generation, education, healthcare and social status.
SEVASHRAM trains poor people and support them for getting into income generating activities. Sevashram also provide infrastructure for micro enterprise activities and marketing facilities for their products. The profit is divided among the poor members. SEVASHRAM is a unique organisation among other MFIs.
