With just 15 eight (8) days left to enter the Changemakers Sustainable Urban Housing: Collaborating for Liveable and Inclusive Cities competition, we are launching a #SocEntNom Twitter campaign and would really appreciate your support!
Changemakers is devoting the next two weeks few days to acknowledging some of the awesome organizations working in affordable housing, sustainable development, and urban environments. Our goal is to have you nominate your favorite solutions for entry in our Sustainable Urban Housing competition. Do you know about any people or organizations that might be interested in entering? Are you aware of any initiatives that would be a good fit? Here is your chance to get them involved!
What is “#SocEntNom”?
It stands for Social Entrepreneurship Nomination. Simply, #SocEntNom is a crowdsourced Twitter-based effort to find and connect with potential entrants in our collaborative competitions.
How does it work?
It’s pretty easy. Simply @mention the person, organization, or campaign you are targeting and invite them to get involved. For example, tweet something like:
@cities2cities Think you'd be great for this Sustainable Housing Comp: http://www.changemakers.com/sustainableurbanhousing! Enter & spread the word! #SocEntNom
Of course, feel free to modify the message and insert your own nominations in the same format. Be sure to tag your tweets with the #SocEntNom hashtag and retweet to get the word out!
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to follow-up with @changemakers via Twitter or with John Townsend via email at jtownsend@ashoka.org. We look forward to getting your help to identify innovative sustainable urban housing initiatives from around the world!
