Today, Ashoka's very own Bill Drayton and Valeria Budinich, Chief Entrepreneur for Ashoka's Full Economic Citizenship Initiative, will be leading the World Bank seminar Public Goods through Social Enterprises: Creating Hybrid Value Chains. (Livestream after the jump.)
Bill and Valeria, co-authors of the Harvard Business Review's A New Alliance for Global Change, will lead a discussion on their innovative economic framework, Hyrbrid Value Chains (HVC) – how they create new value, business profits, and disruptive social change across regions, in all sectors, and at every level of the economic pyramid.
The event kicks off in a half hour with a networking session for participants, but the real show will begin at 11:30am ET sharp, with opening remarks by Sanjay Pradhan, Vice President at the World Bank Institute. Pradhan will be joined by an impressive panel of social change champions:
