My new innovative idea is to propose small CSR poverty alleviation projects (under $10,000 in funding per year) to rich corporations in the developed nations. The projects would be designed around individual firms adopting one or several small groups of women entrepreneur "clubs" in villages and small towns in the poor countries of the world. Each club will have a minimum of 20 micro-business entrepreneurs, mostly women. The CSR Funding from the rich firms will be matched with one or several of these business clubs, where the funding would be used to provide revolving loans and business coaching to members of the club.

It will be easier for the rich country firms to make direct connection/relationship with the projects they support in Africa and elsewhere. The amount of grant would be small enough that many firms can afford to donate. More impoverished women entrepreneurs would be reached through this model. Grassroots economic development in the remotest villages would expand. We will get quicker results of economic improvement and more people would get out of poverty, quicker. expenditure per person helped to get out of poverty will be much smaller (in sub-Sahara about $39 per person). More local community groups in more countries would find the resources, (through many firms participating) to intervene with microloans and business coaching.

My experience with working with local partners in remote villages and towns, tells me that it is easy to reach these impoverished women operating their tiny retail and services businesses. With no more than $50 in capital they earn about $5 in profit daily.

To identify a large group of firms in Canada, USA, UK, France, etc, to target and solicit them to invest small amounts of their CRS funds to sponsor micro-enterprise business "clubs" in Africa, Asia, South America, etc.

To get as many rich corporations as possible to grant/donate small amounts of CSR funding directly to micro-enterprise clubs in poor countries through ICAfrica.

Design and use an "Application for Grant/Donation" template to approach as many firms as possible, on behalf of several thousands of micro-enterprise "clubs" in several poor countries.

To raise enough small capital to support the millions of people, especially women, who are presently underemployed in their micro-businesses.

Milestone: Get many rich corporations world-wide to grant/don
Corporations making profits world-wide are being encouraged, via this program, to offer grants and donations to African women entrepreneurs through ICAfrica.

Starting now - Oct 28, 2011 - I would like assistance in compiling a good list (with contact information) of the best 10,000 corporations - world-wide - in Canada, USA, UK, France, Germany, Japan, etc
