We will create a safe online meeting place for 5-12 year old children from Canada and around the world. The Kids Embassy will be created in Woogi World which is an existing interactive children's educational site.
The Embassy will facilitate communications between children, mentoring of English language learners and sharing of information about different cultures and countries.
Children will also have access to many other free programs available in Woogi World including internet safety training, interactive multi player educational games, Smithsonian Institute videos and educational clubs.
A sponsorship program is proposed to provide the subscription based WoogiESL free of charge through the Embassy to children based on initiative and need.

Problem

To have a safe place where children of the world can interact, learn about other cultures, learn English and learn to value diversity and differences. The children of the world are the next generation leaders who will shape the global society of the future.

Solution

Our Virtual Children's Embassy will provide the venue where our leaders of tomorrow will learn about other cultures and regions of the world. We will deliver the latest technology to create a meeting place for young children designed to highlight multiculturalism and facilitate communication among other children from around the world. Provide a foundation of understanding and acceptance that will help children growing into leaders in a more connected world. English is the global language of business and we will deliver a proven and successful on-line interactive English learning program within the Embassy.

Example

We will be using an existing children’s virtual interactive community as the platform in which to develop the Kids Embassy. We intend to partner with Government, schools, NGOs and the private sector to plan and develop the Embassy. We will create an engaging space within the virtual community which will attract and hold the interest of children from around the world. We will create collaborative learning activities and cultural sharing opportunities to inform and engage children. Our model will involve parents as well and we will have opportunities for them to learn about travel to Canada, commerce with Canada and immigration processes.
