Pacific Commuter is a club for people who live in Langley, Cloverdale, or Aldergrove and work in Vancouver who want to improve the quality of their commute.
Problem
Problems:
Bad transportation between the Fraser Valley and Vancouver.
Too many cars on the road.
Too much unproductive time for commuters.
Unhealthy, stressed out people commuting.
Solution
Google is well known for offering their employees some pretty amazing perks. "But the biggest perk may come with the morning commute," says the New York Times. Google has created a regional bus system to help get their employees to work each day.
Why? For most people, their commute is the least favorite part of their day. When people commute they are neither productive nor relaxed. Statistics Canada's 2010 survey showed that people with long commutes have an increased likelihood of health issues due to stress.
Google attracts the best from afar by making commuting comfortable, productive, and fun. But who can afford to create a regional bus system like that? With Pacific Commuter club you don't have to.
Pacific Commuter Club provides people who live in Langley and Cloverdale a safe, comfortable, and productive commute into downtown Vancouver.
