India still accounts for approx.750 million low-income & poor people who are excluded from the formal financial system and don't have access to basic banking, insurance, medical cover, pensions and other financial services.

The Government is now opening lots of bank accounts, but the people are not saving or banking. There is very little activity. The Government's focus on other financial services like insurance, pensions, medical cover & investments for the poor is very minimal.

To fully include the poor into the system and help them to move out of poverty in the long run, Sanchayan is opening "Sanchayan Suraksha Points" [SSP] which will provide all "financial services + financial information" at one -stop points to the urban poor.

Our Mission is "Complete Financial Security"

Problem

An exclusive Financial Services & Information Network for the poor branded "SSP"

Solution

SSP [Sanchayan Suraksha Points] - one-stop points for the urban poor in Delhi & Mumbai to access all financial services, financial information, obtain counselling, guidance, planning, consumer protection and grievance redressal.

Example

Sanchayan Suraksha Point [SSP] - A one-stop point "brand" in Delhi that the poor can identify and get financial services from

Marketplace

Sanchayan Society undertook this report wherein we studies the "ability & willingness" of the poor to contribute to social security and financial tools that could make their life better. For example" life insurance, health insurance, pensions and other products. Surprisingly, we found that 73% of the poor people are able and willing to invest a small amount every month for their and their family's financial security.
