We already know when the presentation of HIV-infected women has increased from year to year. them a lot in the stigma and discrimination of their status, though not necessarily their status to obtain because the behavior they do, because they could have contracted the disease from their partner. Of such events could lead women to be discriminated HIV-infected people, is considered bad, even isolated from the environment, things like this can lead to stress which affects the quality of life for these women become decreasing HIV-infected people. because the issue I bring up the idea to hold a social group so that the problem can be minimized. Description: The definition of the group itself is two or more individuals who influence each other through social interaction. Support groups have similarities with self-help group, where individuals who are members of the group gathered to build strength, public interest, as well as the competence of each member. In addition, both self-help group or support group, aims to provide social support and emotional support, develop new ideas or ideas about how to deal with the problems faced, and to provide constructive guidance for its members. of the problems we already know the purpose of our project are (1) to establish intimacy that no distance between HIV-infected people with non HIV-infected people (2) to improve the quality of their life in women infected and many more.

Problem

We already know when the presentation of HIV-infected women has increased from year to year. them a lot in the stigma and discrimination of their status, though not necessarily their status to obtain because the behavior they do, because they could have contracted the disease from their partner. Of such events could lead women to be discriminated HIV-infected people, is considered bad, even isolated from the environment, things like this can lead to stress which affects the quality of life for these women become decreasing HIV-infected people of the problems we already know the purpose of our project are (1) to establish intimacy that no distance between HIV-infected people with non HIV-infected people (2) have the courage to express an opinion (3) no longer afraid of the presence of discrimination (4) not despised by people around even though the status has been known her HIV positive status (5) have friends to exchange ideas and storytelling (6) to improve the quality of their life in women infected by HIV, and some desires that are still a lot more if specified

Solution

Combining a meeting between HIV-infected people with non HIV-infected people, which from what I observe more of a special meeting between HIV-infected people only. This could open the way for closer between HIV-infected people with non HIV-infected people itself and less to minimize stigma and discrimination that occurred

Example

Designing open activities between HIV-infected people with non HIV-infected people which focused on giving of information, training, or tell each other and exchange ideas in solving a problem.

Marketplace

I am involved in the community that focuses on HIV, the cost of which we have purely from us and for us. In this community we learn to share, control emotions, considered as a family. Many activities are carried out in both the advocacy community about the discrimination that happens, solving the problem of HIV-infected people common activities such as focused group discussions, film discussions., And there are still some more that all involve HIV-infected people. This is done to equalize between the HIV-infected people with non HIV-infected people

Need

We still need funds to be able to realize what we expect, since the average of us involved in this organization are the activists who come from students or housewives. and all this money we spend is our personal funds, if anyone can help us, it is worth it for all of us who will be affected by...

I think this topic/issue is quite important as they (PLHIV) also have potential talent. They have to be given a chance/space as well to work or make achievement. That is why we have to assist the to erase the stigma and discrimination among the society (PLWHIV).

Good luck for Khairunnisa group.

thanks for your caring sister to engage in active efforts of HIV AIDS. and we need to realize that you are from Indonesia which has a big problem with HIV AIDS. in Indonesia in addition to the stigma and discrimination in society, problems that arise are also associated with the availability of cheap drugs (ARV), quality and affordable are still unresolved in this country. then the lack of information about PMTCT. The third is about the treatment of opportunistic infections such as Hepatitis C is not reached. and finally the low involvement of people infected with HIV in policy making on HIV AIDS.
I really hope if you can give a new feel for countermeasures of HIV AIDS.
congratulations.
