Seeking Grants Manager
About the Need:
Safe Mothers, Safe Babies is seeking to find a suitable candidate to fill the position of "Grants Manager", charged will following up with donors after grant or donation dispersal as well as keeping an ongoing database of donors current. GM will meet regularly with President to stay up-to-date on all grant-related projects, and communicate progress to donors as specified within each grant contract. As more grants are implemented, the GM can find a suitable candidate to fill manager positions for specific grants, especially those that require a great deal of accounting and oversight. Desired skills/experience: dedication to public health and international development (particularly maternal and child health and/or reproductive health), familiarity with grant reporting or extreme enthusiasm about learning quickly (I will train), business relations, donor relations, articulate in both speaking and writing, and availability of at least 2-4 hours per week (more to meet specific deadlines). Volunteer only. One-year appointment (negotiable for the right candidate).
