The Swim Place Sports and Culture Club is the first sporting operation of its kind in the region. It provides facilities and expertise for the children to be exposed to non traditional sports as well as develop them to compete at local, national and international levels. The year round programs allows for the consistent development of young athletes in swimming, lawn tennis, badminton, table tennis and volleyball.

We are presently inviting schools to take advantage of our services as a group and sign up for our Schools Program: The Schools' Sports Program and Schools Team Training Program.

These programs are geared to achieve the above objective while helping schools build rounded and active individuals prepared to access the numerous benefits extra curricular activities offer.

Broadening the opportunities and tools available to students, empowering them to be able to improve their quality of life by increasing their eligibility for scholarships and work opportunities. While helping the creation and exposure of holistic educational institutions.

Problem

The Caribbean has been suffering from the under utilization of its human resources since colonization. With only a select few being able to maximize their potential in the areas they are proficient in. Our communities are living in fear, our children are under-achieving and our cities are developing without significant investments in projects that address the development of our rich artistic and athletic social capital. To achieve sustainable development there needs to be positive, socially inclusive and enjoyable extra curricular programs for students. The Swim Place seeks to satisfy this need while exposing and developing niche sports and the arts.

The Swim Place offers services and products geared at increasing the number of skilled individuals eligible to represent schools at local and national competitions. As such we have developed a strategy that will enable the development of the infrastructure necessary to encourage junior athletes and performers. By inviting international and local corporations to sponsor the development of school teams ready to compete.

That has consistently had clients receiving accolades in competitions, while a initiating the creation of a multi- generational facility. Equipped with our 6 lane 25 M competition lap pool, 2 six a side football/ field hockey fields and bathroom and parking facilities after its first phase of development. We have successfully initiated the manifestation of our brand through the provision of teaching and training programs, the establishment of our swim club and sports shop. And, the creation of alliances with national and international bodies and the initiation of the sports complex.
