Einstein once said that no problem will ever be solved on the same level of thinking that the problem got created on. This is ever so true in an age where the cost of human irrationalities have touched our lives in profound, dramatic ways. With the advent of behavioral economics and recent discoveries in neuroscience, we now know why Einstein made this call for what necessitates radical thinking shifts: The Rational/Cognitive parts of our brain are overshadowed by the faster, unconscious-driven "primal" brain. We speak to the rational brain, yet the primal brain decides. In the areas of global politics, country to country conflict resolution, and setting up policies to eradicate poverty---all these emotionally "hot" topics need a paradigmatically unique intervention that repairs trauma-based neural networks and heightened emotional reactivity prior to rational/goal-setting discussions. As Nobel prize winner Daniel Kahneman notes, we are resistant to acknowledging that these fundamental brain biases exist and his studies (and others) have shown that 'forcing" others to note their irrationality will never work. People reconstruct reality to reduce dissonance---we speak we want truth,peace, innovation, change, yet the brain wants to be right. My idea is to leverage on a global a quantum-based brain technology I have successfully used on a smaller scale with very resistant and sophisticated brains wrought with dysfunction and ego. I envision critical stakes situations employing this neuroplastic technology as a pre-facilitation technology, balancing brains prior to rational discussions. Such a strategy would remove the hidden error variance, couched in cognitive/brain illusions, inside Board rooms and increase true alignment and behavioral follow through.

Problem

Currently research has shown that just for individual habit change we have odds of 9:1 against us in changing our behavior (Deutschman, 2005). Behavioral economists such as Dan Ariely and Daniel Kahneman have tons of research that have shown our predictably irrational natures in "owning" our choices in why we do what we do, uncovering persistent illusions and biases in the brain that many times prevent the change we say we are seeking. We need radically new approaches to making this research "connect" to global political decision making and peace making, accounting for more awareness on that top end of irrationality. This technology is scaleable under proper conditions and can be piloted in small to medium settings involving critical stake discussion leaders around a certain topic where repetitive "stuckness" or looping has prevented traction on a policy/issue. This proposal of mine is groundbreaking in that for the first time human difference is not seen as an ideological or belief issue needing someone else to 'correct their thinking to make them right". It promotes a second-order change predisposition w/brain technology, going around "ideological hot buttons"

Marketplace

This is a very niche technology requiring specific and intensive training and certification. There are no competitors as this is NOT neurofeedback but the only device on the market leveraging quantum-mechanics principles to allow the brain to heal itself (neuroplasticity). The clinical and medical worlds have done a horrible job making brain technologies available for sociopolitical causes as they are poor innovators and entrepreneurs (generally).
