| Bonnie founded Pique Ventures (http://piqueventures.com), an intelligent network of investors who are committed to a more integrated approach to managing their money. Pique Ventures helps people think differently about investing and make investment decisions using information from emotions, intuition, and bodies as well as analysis, so that the types of investments made are more purposeful. Bonnie qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in Toronto and worked with the firm in London, UK. She structured and financed multi-million Euro real estate transactions in Europe with Hypo Real Estate Bank and ABN AMRO Bank. She has also been an explorer, traveller, consultant, aspiring ski instructor, and advisor to social entrepreneurs and impact investors. In 2011, she joined a team at Vancouver City Savings Credit Union and implemented a high impact lending and investing program. Bonnie spotted opportunities in the impact investing space to innovate around how investment decisions are made and around the leadership of women investors and in December 2011, began developing what is now Pique Ventures. Bonnie is an associate of Ogunte (http://www.ogunte.com/innovation) in the UK and is a member of the Board of LOCO BC (http://locobc.com). You can often find her on Twitter @BonnieOWong. |
