It is outstanding that your initiative takes a whole-family approach to domestic violence. Too many times the focus falls on the adults alone, and the impact on children may be ignored, especially in situations where child abuse does not occur. By providing services from which the entire family can benefit, your initiative certainally helps to break the cycle of violence in your community. This is the first program I have heard of that incorporates victim sheltering, abuser couseling, and childrens activities under one umbrella.
