I am really interested in your program. I would like to learn more about the vulnerable communities that you target and how you select them. What type of trafficking/ forced labor are the girls at risk for? Forced labor, domestic work, begging, sex work? What types of services do you provide to the rescued girls? Can you tell me more about what the 4-6 month training for each group of 20 girls involves? What are the specific activities, and who is administering the training?
Thank you! I look forward to learning more about this great program.

Greetings from Maiti Nepal!
We are really glad that you are interested in our programme. We target mainly those community that are vulnerable to trafficking. We select those girls whose female family members or neighbours have already been trafficked, uneducated girls or those that are at high risk of being trafficked. The girls are at risk of sex work after being trafficked. During the 4-6 month training, the trainees stay in our Prevention home and are provided training on leadership skills, non-formal education, income generating and vocational skills, whereupon after the training the girls go back to thier respective villages and spread awareness against girl trafficking and even collect information about such cases. The Co-ordinator along with Vocational Trainer and NFE teacher adminsiter the training directly who in turn are surpervised by a Program Officer from the Head Office.
