Describe Your Idea

Innovation

Innovation:

It would be the first attempt to educate the people, especially the customers/clients (demanding group) for the sex market. It would focus on development of leaflet/posters and pamphlets that describe the hurtful situation of the girls involved in sex work forcefully and also enforces them to have an imagination of their own girls/daughters, sisters and wives in trap of the traffickers.

Impact

Impact:

The survivors of trafficking and sex exploitation will be used as change agent, who can facilitate in real dissemination of the information through their experiences and learning. The national or regional level exchange of the information/message through paper or electronic media may contribute largely to bring the changes in the mindset of the people.

Tipping Point:

The perspective looking at women as the source of entertainment or the commodity or the person to order has to be changed. And our strategy strives to change such mindset of the people. We believe that the versatile responsibilities of women as Mother, daughter, wife, sister or granddaughter should be respected and appreciated. Sensitizing people over the forceful involvement of the sex girls or trafficked girls would be tipping point for us by focusing on demand side.

Replication:

The sharing of the survivors, real drama shows, informative leaflets and other means of awareness rising programs will be conducted to trafficking prone/high risk cross border areas, station/exit points and around sex markets (Cabin restaurant, dance bar, brothel, carpet & garment factory, in-house and etc.). Moreover, lobby and advocacy will be the other way to sensitize people at high level or at decision-making level.
