You've struck the right balance between sports, ecology, and education, Vincente. To your credit, the Center of Basketball Education places education at the center of your efforts but still uses sports to teach respect for the environment and respect for oneself through the avoidance of drugs. Your motto that education is more important than a physical center or the playing of basket ball places the priority where it ought to be.
Now after twenty-two years you're working with your third generation of students, and that's a tribute to your persistence. Of course, you'd benefit from a dedicated space of your own with indoor courts and rooms for holding classes, but you've approached a certain sustainability based on your recycling efforts alone, and you should be commended for that.
I couldn't help but think, upon reading your biography above, that you've become a father to many of the children that you've taught in school and in the Center over the years. You may have spent your own youth in an orphanage, but you've insured that several other, younger children will have a teaching father in the person of you whom they will always respect.

I am grateful for the chance to comment and to highlight the work that some volunteers and I have done. We hope for a moment when we might have your participation, no matter your profession, for your contribution would be very welcome in helping children with their needs.
Our goal is the development of the child, without prejudice and without social discrimination.
This work must come from the heart without thinking of ones own welfare, but rather thinking of the welfare of the children, adolescents and young people, and thereby strengthening the adults they will become.
Steve, you have already helped by reading our entry, viewing the video and sending us your opinion regarding our work. To me, your participation has been very valuable and I will save your note, always contemplating its content.
Thank you.
I wish you, your family and friends all the best.
God bless you,
Vicente France and Family
P.S. Speaking of help there is a biblical passage in which the Lord Jesus says: “Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God". Any kind of involvement with honesty will be welcomed.
Thank you for participating in this collaborative competition. We value the time and effort you’ve put forth and we would like to offer you feedback and some thought provoking questions from our Evaluation Team.
The concept of using basketball (and other activities) as a platform for wider learning among children and adolescents in health, civic responsibility, and environmental awareness could have an especially positive impact. The impact over the program’s 22 years of activity has been relatively small, and although numerous benefits such as the development of volunteerism, friendships, and community awareness have been cited, there is no mention as to how these benefits can be measured or expanded. Finally, the funding of the project through community recycling efforts, while unique, is challenging and possibly difficult to sustain over the long-term.
Please use this input as both potential insights into your innovations, as well as constructive ideas for how to improve or grow your organization.
