Just as the NATO countries are gearing up for renewed spring fighting against the Taliban and other insurgent groups in Afghanistan, you, Global EduSport, and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs are demonstrating a genuine way of exporting democracy, Jacob.

Your emphasis on the forgotten youth of this war-torn nation as well as your concentration on teaching the teachers of sports are well-placed. As you suggest, your model is exportable, and let us hope that you quickly have a chance to take it beyond Kabul and into every corner of Afghanistan. Your budget of less than a quarter-of-a-million dollars a year is certainly money well spent.

Dear Steve,

Thank you for your comment. What we have here is a project that has so many potential barriers that we stopped counting. Because where progress is most difficult - it will often have the greatest impact. That is why we are in Kabul.

Though I would not myself call it export of democracy, I agree that taking our model to other countries has promising perspctives. We are on our way!

Best,

Jacob
