Dear Anywar,

This is a great intiative to promote human rights, peace and reconciliation. You may be interested in our latest seminar on using Sport in Post-Disaster Intervention (see the competition entry from ICSSPE).

The seminar is aimed at providing training for professionals working in post-disaster intervention, such as the civil war in Uganda, learn how to use sport to help promote resilience and coping strategies in individual and communities and to overcome trauma.

Your program has very similar goals, although the approach is quite different. I'm interested to know how you use sport in your project to work towards your outcomes???

Also, on the music and dance angle, you may be interested in some research that is just beginning at the Centre for the Study of Sport in Society at Northeastern University, Boston on the impact of music and sport intersect in society and impact on human rights. Check it out on their website: http://www.sportinsociety.org/news.php?nid=112

All the best,
Jackie
