Discussion about entry: Women for Peace use "Kicking for Peace" to build a New South Africa

Thanks for sharing this project on Changemakers. It looks like a really comprehensive and well-established model for multi-cultural exchange and community building.

I'm interested to know your thoughts on combining sport with educational and health messages. Given some of the challenges in the communities in which this programme operates. Do you see a potential to add some health promotion messages or other educational aspects, such as on HIV/AIDS prevention, to your programme?

You mentioned that both boys and girls are currently participating in Kicking for Peace. What type of challenges have you faced in recruiting female players and coaches? Has there been any resistance in the communities that you work in and how have you dealt with that?

I wish you every success as you expand this model and spread the message of peace to other communities in South Africa and neighbouring regions.
