Great work! Who makes up the committee that selected the students and did you find those people or did they come through the ny organization that sponsors the beadwork project?
ILAMAIYO FOUNDATION committee works with relevant community leaders in selecting those to be recruited into the program, we also work with the primary school administartions who knew and have interucted with the children for many years.
The foundation in New York only channel monies contributed by our sponsors who are generally individuals, the purpose of using the foundation is mainly to evade tax.
One of our supporters Pamela Elmore is one championing beadwork sales and she has been hiring a booth at Lake Tahoe Boat show periodically, she also stem salaries and office administration costs.

Your project idea looks great so far! Can you explain in more detail about your role with the girls? Once the scholarship is provided, is there any sort of program that helps empower the girls in the community? Do you maintain contact with the girls once they have received the scholarship?
