I agree acupuncture is a great intervention for many ailments. I have used it myself to help control my asthma, it is inexpensive and it works. I recommend acupuncture to many of the clients I work with. A common referral source in my area is the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. The College of Naturopathic Medicine offers clinic hours to the community at very reasonable prices. Most often my clients do not even know this clinic exists. I recommend my clients discuss such interventions with their primary physician but many times the client’s enthusiasm is dampened. This is where the disruption needs to take place through educating the consumer and making the intervention available. I enjoyed reading your submission. -Ralph
