Both of our children were born in the Elizabeth Seton Childbirth Center before it closed. The births themselves were mostly without complications, although the pregnancies were complicated by preterm labor, which was handled by transferring us a doctor's care, then transferring us back when we reached term.

We thought it was the best possible experience we could have had for the births. I hope other people in New York City get the chance or choice to experience something similar.
