Hi there people.The project by Eliud Gichia is one of a kind.In africa,the need to protect and cater for the children has been overwhelmingly over run by the desire to lok for basic needs by their parents and gurdians.This is in line by the fact that most people live their lives almost under a dollar per day.The day care seem to cater for the young vulnerable kids who would otherwise be wasting at home with househelps or would be exposed to harsh street conditions.Their parents are busy looking for daily bread that they hardly get time for their kids.What Eliud and his team are doing is wonderfull.I live in Kenya and i can testify that kids here need help but with proper guardins and caring adults.The day care is situated in a place am conversant with i.e between two different worlds,the rich and the poor communities.The center is saving the parents a great deal of problems by entrusting safety for their young loved ones and specifically instilling moral principles in them.Since education is the ultimate foundation of a good future,I think Eliud is changing the lives of these young kids.Kudos to the team and I sure hope they will continue with their venture towards making education accessible and productive to the less fortuned.
