Africa Mentoring Institute is a community capacity building institution registered in Uganda in december 2004 with a Reg. No. 68122. It was established to help individuals to discover and maximise their latent potentials and career aspirations. AMI majorly focuses on those individuals passionate about their talents and careers achievement. Our approach is equipe them with practical skills through guidance and mentorship. We inspire them to learn, research, innovate, document, appreciate the resources around them and ask leading questions.

Reason:
This is a dynamic group of Women living postive with Hiv/Aids. This project is a clear example of emphathy. It is a story of hope in despair.AMI developes the capacities of women in entrepreneurship to help them cope up with their difficult life situation. The women meet regulary, sing, dance together and compliment each others weaknesses.AMI promotes women's locally hand-made handicraft as well as identifying possible sales outlets for their produced materials. The institute provides these stigmatised women an environment of love, acceptance and diginity. They are visited, counseled and followed up in their excluded single poor families.See link: http://mentorafrica.blogspot.com/p/mothers-of-hope.html
