Really liked your proposal, just wanted to ask you if you think it would be applicable in the developing world, say Eastern Europe perhaps where there is less available disposable or income used for investment among the general population? I think if that is the case you might want to demonstrate that fact and how it would work given the differences between Germany and East European economies, as the competition is focused on developing countries/emerging markets.

Best of luck!

Hello Josh,

thanks for your inspiring comment. I think, and I am going to outline this further in the project proposal, that the model can be implemented in other, emerging countries just as well. Only the amount of invested money might be lower. In the eastern EU member states, the EU can contribute to the projects. The most important thing is to mobilise the participation of regional citizens and entrepreneurs and to link them. The amount of money invested is not the decisive factor as the expenditures also vary in different countries.

Please contact me if you need any further clarifications,

Yours faithfully,
