Can you clarify why you chose to deploy this as client software versus over the internet as a "service" especially since you plan to sell it online?

Dear Peter
I appreciate your concern towards the eAquarium project and some query raised. Client software version over Internet has been chosen as it will enhance it penetration across globe... For any endeavour (social or for profit) has to be sustained in long run...the revenue collected shall be kept for future maintenance and upgradation...
Regards & Thanks

Thank you for your entry. I'm not altogether clear on how the effects of your aquarium will differ from, say, a screen saver or a video that represent swimming fish. Is there something new or potentially beneficial stemming from the interactive component?
I look forward to hearing your response,
Best,
Diane

Dear Ms. Daine
I appreciate your concern and query. Just like what so ever things that we do in an ordinary Aquarium, we can do it in eAquarium program. We feed fish in an Aquarium that we can do in eAquarium too. If we knock on the glass of Aquarium fishes scares away that we can do it in eAquarium. Can put choice of fish in eAquarium. eAquarium give a look of a Screensaver or a video but it will have much more interactive features.
Thanks & Bests

Thanks for your response. These interactive components of the eAquarium sound interesting; as you mentioned (in your entry) that the health benefits were associated with someone's viewing swimming fish, I wonder whether there're reasons to expect health benefits/returns to come from the enhanced interactivity.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Ms. Diane
Thanks for your observations. Well the interactive features are for making thing more lively... If we do not add the, as mentioned features then it will look like just another screen saver and will be monotonous.
Well these interactive features will give a feel of a GAME. In fact, it is a game and will definitely help in improving health...

Thank you for your response. While I appreciate the certainty with which you assert that the addition of interactivity "will definitely help in improving health", you must know you'd be more likely to convince your readers (and the judges) were you to point to existing research/literature that suggests as much. It points to some interesting questions -- some I'd be eager to see data about (or hear Changemaker community-members thoughts on). Just two are: while well-designed interactivity does increase viewers/players engagement and immersion, is engagement/immersion what one really wants -- or can expect -- from your target populations? or could the interactivity possibly even make disruptive children even more disruptive?
I look forward to hearing your thoughts, Dr/Mr Haque and Changemakers community members.
Best,

In your proposal you mentioned being able to feed the fish, and "scare them" by clicking the mouse etc. I think that you should improve upon this idea. Doing this would help distinguish you from a video/screen-saver feel, and also increase the level of involvement by the user.
I think being able to have a "friend" that won't cause you any problems or add to your level of stress, but that you are able to take care of (in a sense) would, in most cases, greatly reduce the amount of tension/stress people generally experience while at work or elsewhere.
I think that including more options, like being able to feed the fish etc., would make your idea more interactive and increase the effectiveness of your product.
Thanks Stephen for your interest in our project. In future we will definitely work on your suggestions... As the project is interactive and will have more feature than an ordinary screensaver. Regards
