"This is an extremely important initiative in light of recent research that surfaces the links that HIV (and other diseases) has to maternal mortality. In the broader discussion, and based off the quality of this proposal, I found this to be a really interesting finalist. Their focus on TB, specifically, in the context of maternal health is not something that is done in very many places, and is quite innovative for that reason. This approach is relatively new, and could be quite successful."
