Great idea, Pascal. Does the device exist already or are you trying to invent it?

Will it be affordable to most women?

I like the idea that this would monitor the women's heart rate inexpensively; however, I'm curious as to what the process is for women after an irregular heartbeat is found. Could you explain? What medical resources are available in order to prevent complications or early delivery? Do most women have access and financial means to seek those resources?

Thanks for your very interesting submission! It sounds like a great idea and it could be really useful for these women to have a way to measure a baby’s heart rate during their pregnancy. Would you mind providing more of a discussion on your plans for financial sustainability? What kind of a funding model have you been thinking about to ensure a constant stream of funding? Also, how much would it cost to create and distribute this kind of a product? We’re also interested in learning about what happens after the heart rate is measured? Does this gadget have a mechanism that alerts health workers in the area? If there is a scarcity of hospitals in the area, have you thought of ways that your gadget could help mothers receive faster and more efficient care? Thanks for a great entry and we’re really looking forward to your response. Please remember to filter your additional comments back into your entry form so that the team can better evaluate your submission!
