Sorry Jake Miller, I have had to be in the field for sometime. But am back now. Thanks for your comment and the question posted. The patent covers provision of manpower that teaches the skills and pay them for that (especially Ministry of Women Affiars).
Obstetric fistulae are recurring decimal in developing countries especially in Nigeria. The incidence is commoner in the Northern parts of the country where young marriages are regularly contracted and a child becomes a mother even before maturity.
The issue of stigma, discrimination and neglect are rife. There is a need to empower women to be able to have a say in their reproductive health, empower the affected and neglected and raise awareness about the menace of child marriage.
Surgical repair and rehabilitation is still the mainstay of management but provision of such is hampered by unavailability of fund, dirge of expertise, political-will by the government, poverty, illiteracy and lack of awareness.
ECWA Evangel Hospital in Jos Nigeria has been in the fore-front of management of obstetric fistula. A partnership with the management will go a long way.
I commend your effort and encourage people to assist.

There are a lot of people on this site wanting to help those with obstetric fistula problems, you speak with them. I liked the entry by Mimidae.
You mentioned you have a patent for this idea. What exactly does your patent cover?
