Maternal health would be because it would providing women, who may or may not be mothers currently, services they would need to successfully provide for themselves and their children in the future. In order to provide a healthy future for one's children, one must diminish disease susceptibility in mothers. Once these women engage in this program, it will treat their current disease and reduce future disease susceptibility because their allostatic load is reduced, thus increasing Maternal health.
