“Stigma is caused by words and attitudes, and there is no better way to change this than by getting journalists in the media to use appropriate words when talking about mental health issues. This initiative affects the way that people frame and report on these issues, and I think it’s great.”

“I think this is a great way to address stigma. I’m interested in learning whether you have tried to get this kind of program replicated by other schools of social work or even schools of journalism? There are definitely ways of taking this to scale and a joint program between social work and journalism could be an interesting innovation.”
