Fusion Kitchen is a start-up social venture that helps recent immigrant women develop their transferable skill sets, work experience, and self-confidence through teaching cooking classes focused on dishes specific to their cultures.  Our venture is a stepping stone for these women to gain employment in the Canadian workforce.

Fusion Kitchen offers an authentic cultural experience where dishes are prepared and taste like “mom’s cooking”.  Each 3-hour class features a tutorial, hands-on cooking in smaller groups, and the opportunity to enjoy your meal with the class. When you enter the kitchen and learn to cook with our teachers, you are taught about the ingredients used, the secrets to making the perfect dish, and details about the culture.  We provide a community where knowledge, skills, and culture are exchange.
