India has nearly 50 Million SME’s employed around 60 Million people and over 90% are Micro enterprises. Only 10-15% of them have adopted IT in their businesses to improve productivity. They lack access to latest technology due to non-availability and high cost constraints, absence of skilled manpower, inadequate infrastructure etc. At this juncture Niqotin is developing Rural ERP considering the MSME pain-points in mind. The Products / Services on offer are affordable, latest in technology, easy-to-use, Indian language specific and can access from anywhere, anytime. Rural ERP will enable enterprise users in Tier-1, Tier-2 cities, rural and semi-urban areas by creating great value for their investment.

Rural ERP is the world’s First Indian Language Cloud ERP available in 9 Indian languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu apart from English. Here Rural means “Rural Urban Resources Across Languages”. Rural ERP will be an Enterprise Rise Platform by addressing the pain-points challenging the MSME sector and will be part of the Eco-System in the near future. We wish to bridge the digital divide among the Enterprises, whether Rural or Urban, and we call it as EDI, Enterprise Digital Inclusion.
Anybody who can read, write their local language (i.e Tamil or Hindi) can operate and manage the day-to-day businesses. The main advantage is the Lowest TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). No upfront investment is needed for setup, implementing and maintaining the infrastructure, as Rural ERP resides on Cloud and available On-Demand (Software-As-A-Service). So MSMEs can “Pay for what they Use” and “Scale as they Grow”.

Rural ERP is a B2B product available for an Annual Subscription targeting MSMEs. Almost all the competitors charge per user per month. But our pricing model is based on Per Edition Per Annum.
Rural ERP has 4 distinct Add-on platforms that differentiate itself from the competition. Those are Commerce, Content, Community and Infrastructure.
Commerce platform consists of Rural EXIM (Export-Import), Rural Pay, Rural SMS, Rural Store and Content platform is having Rural CMS (Content Management System), Rural KB (Knowledge Base), Rural Support and Community platform consists of Rural Ideas, Rural Apps, Rural SME (Social Media Environment), Rural Jobs, Rural CSR (Community. The ERP market is served by MNC’s like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Sage, Infor, Zoho, Epicor, Netsuite and CDC Software and Indian players like Tally, Ramco, Wings Info, A2Z Apps, eResource, Eastern Software, ERP Next and other Local service providers who mostly target small-to-bigger companies for their products. Most of the MSMEs are aware of high technology license and implementation costs and postpone their technology adoption.

We've implmented our Rural ERP, CRM and SCM solutions to nearly 20 SMEs in Tamil Nadu. India based on their requirements and business flow we've done the customozation of ERP and maintain it in Data Center. So far the MSMEs can reduce the operating cost by roughy 30% and increase the Productivity with the help of Technology. At shop floor level we are trying implement the ERP in the Local language and it benefits the semi-skilled or unskilled labour workforce. And the Salesforce and Service engineers can manage their day-to-day activities very effectively using Rural ERP. And the decision making is very quick thus implement strategies very well and organized on time.

We are planning to implement our Cloud based Rural ERP to nearly 12,000 MSMEs all over India and other countries. We are targeting a revenue of US $ 0.6 M for the FY 2012-13, US $ 2.0 M for the FY 2013-14 and US $ 5 M for thr FY 2014-15. We wish to associate with various industry bodies like FIMSME, FICCI, SME Exchange, Assocham, Nasscom and other Government departments to promote and create awareness about technology adoption, Selection, Implementation etc. We are planning to launch atleast 15 language versions of Rural ERP including 9 Indian languages.

While developing custom CRM applications to our customers in Tamil Nadu we were facing several questions and challenges in front of us. And the Two basic myths about ERP are 1. ERP Systems are Complex 2. ERP Systems are Costly. We wish to break these myths and provide Simple and Affordable ERP to the MSME Community. We wish to show the world that MSMEs mean Most Smartly Managed Enterprises by addressing these challenges with our offerings thus born the product Rural ERP.

Currently we are selling our Products with direct sales force approaching the customers. We are planning to sell through Hardware / Software Vendors, Cloud Technologists and Resellers.
