The National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) (www.nfte.com) is a not-for-profit organization that teaches entrepreneurship to young people from low-income communities to enhance their economic productivity by improving their business, academic, and life skills. Since its founding in 1987, NFTE has reached 230,000 young people and trained more than 4,200 teachers in 28 states and thirteen other countries.

NFTE is widely viewed as a world leader in promoting entrepreneurial literacy among youth. When young people participate in our programs they begin to unlock their unique entrepreneurial creativity, have a greater understanding of the free enterprise system, improve the quality of their lives, and dare to dream for bright futures.
