This is a verynice project. The situation in rural areas is extremely difficult because in such places the traditions are especially strong. As for me, I'm interested in this topic a lot. There is a lot of informationa at pdf SE http://www.pdfok.com . I think that to change the situation some third party that has respect from men should come and advance into active actions. First of all it will be nice if women could have some job to earn money for living.
