To work as a Change Agent and constantly uphold the ideals of Changemakers. | AWKA
Having been trained as a Change Agent, I meanstream change by first changing myself. If you change yourself and use yourself as an example it becomes easy for you to encourage/influence change in your immediate community. This I have been doing through the numerous networks and organisations I belong to.
A place where people even though they may not be very knowledgeable about their rights, but are ready to accept change. A place that could be adaptable.
I would want a situation where people would be given their rights. I want a positive change that would enable people to be able to claim and assert their rights in any circumstance.
This means that Government machinery should be able to support them to claim and assert those rights. This should happen in all spheres and not only on Maternal Health issues.
I am engaged in Development Work. I got involved in this following my interest in Community Service. I have been in Development Work for 7 (seven) years. I started from a Local Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) to International Development Agency. I am presently the Zonal Operations Officer of Support to National Malaria Programme (SuNMaP) in Awka, Anambra State, South-East Nigeria. The organisation supports the Federal Government Of Nigeria (through the National Malaria Control Programme - NMCP)in her efforts to control and eventually eradicate malaria in the country.
