Fabián es Fundador y Presidente de Fundación Plan21 de Argentina. Cuenta con una gran experiencia como consultor internacional, incluyendo el Cluster de Turismo Sostenible del FOMIN y la Cooperación italiana entre otros. Es Profesor e Investigador Titular de la Universidad Nacional de Lanús y Coordinador del Área de Cooperación del Centro Internacional de Estudios sobre Turismo y Desarrollo. Como escritor es autor de “Turismo y Sostenibilidad, una relación compleja”. Fabián ha dedicado los últimos años a difundir el concepto de la sostenibilidad a nivel local, nacional y regional en la industria turística y desde este año es miembro del Directorio del Consejo Global de Turismo Sostenible en representación de Latinoamérica y el sector de las ONG´s.

Fabian is the Founder and President of Plan21 Foundation, an Argentine NGO. He has a large experience as an international sustainable tourism consultant including the Cluster of Sustainable Tourism of the Multilateral Investment Fund of the Inter American Development Bank and the Italian Cooperation, among others. He has an academic career as Titular Professor and Research Director from the Lanus University of Argentina, and Coordinator of the Cooperation Area of the International Center on Tourism and Development. He is the author of “Tourism and Sustainability, a complex relationship” and co author of “Tourism and Poverty, an approach to tourism development models”. In the last years, he has been dedicated to work in a local, national and regional level to spread the concept “sustainability” into the tourism industry. Fabian is a member of the board of the director of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council in representation of Latin America and the NGO sector since 2010.
