I am a founder of Trees for Clean Energy Network an organization that mobilizes youth and women in Nyakach to grow Jatropha and empower them to process producing clean biokerosene. This improves the livelihoods as well as Environment.
Nyakach is rural constituency where i was born harding goats and seeing my people. It is the desire to improve the life of this people that i want this hilly rocky place to be turned into an industrially small village where everybody works for the development of their society.
Positive change in the lives of the rural poor.
As agricultural Scientist, i thought of how best to use knowledge for the development of my own people. This when we founded Trees for Clean Energy Network (TCEN). We have mobilized 25960 farmers to produced Jatropha for clean biofuel and provide capacity building so that they can inter crop with food crops to improve food productivity hence food security.
