I lead a youth initiative offering bilingual theatrical and literacy outreach that engages youth, disability issues, community and diversity.
I feel connected to Ecuador after recently visiting and hope to return someday to adopt a child or children.
I want to see bullying faced down by engaging our youth in diversity issues and teaching tolerance
I am 15 and attend Atlanta Girls’ School. I launched The Children's Bilingual Theater at age 10 to bridge the language and cultural gap of Spanish first language speakers and students learning Spanish. I lead volunteers in a bilingual theatrical outreach which explores Hispanic language, culture and history, work as a literacy advocate and with the Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities. I look forward to majoring in the biosciences with minors in public policy or global health and non-profit management.
