For the past thirty years I have initiated and developed a wide variety of social change projects and organizations, including a credit union and food cooperative in the USA, a cultural project in Kenya, an Arab/Jewish housing organization in Israel, and most recently an alternative tourism company in Palestine/Israel.
In addition I have been extensively involved in organizing and implementing political strategies to facilitate political change in the relationships between Palestinians and Israelis, and to impact on the policies of the Israeli government. This included two years working full time as Operations Manager at ICAHD, The Israeli Committee Against House Demolitons.
