Yellow Springs, Ohio, where I grew up. My mother was a landscape architect who worked for Antioch College and who, with a stone mason Carlos Ricciardi, designed and constructed the waterfall, steps and pond that are the spring as we know it now.
In my lifetime I hope to see parenting resources become universally accepted, accessible and affordable.
Eve Sullivan is founder of Parents Forum and author of Where the Heart Listens, a handbook for parents and their allies in a global society.
She serves on the boards of the National Parenting Education Network and the International Federation for Parent Education.
She is the mother of three adult sons and for many years has hosted international visitors at her home in Cambridge, Mass. She works at M.I.T. as an editorial assistant for a physics journal.
