I am committed to working with people to uncover new ways to understand and operate in our world. I try to find passionate and innovative people, and learn as much as I can from them so that I can empower others to do the same.
I like to find new connections and approaching problems in a holistic way.
Granada, Spain - I studied abroad in Granada for a semester and was mesmerized by this city's vibrancy, history and beauty. Living here sparked my interest in the dynamics of immigration and it's intersection with history, religion and politics. I loved how the city balanced it's important history with it's present and future.
Swaziland, South Africa - I was fascinated by this beautiful country. While visiting South Africa I saw a Swaziland farmer open a bank account with using his fingerprint instead of a signature because he was illiterate. I was struck by how my presumptions of modernity can be challenged and encourage me to think in different ways.
My hometown in North West New Jersey - An ideal place for a safe and happy childhood. I have so many fond memories of being outdoors and exploring nature. I breathe most easy here.
I would like to see a world where people feel empowered and free. A world where people are accepting and embrace diversity and freedom of thought.
I believe knowledge, exploration and information unlocks all potential. I would like to see a world where people have access to resources and knowledge that they want, and the opportunity to make an impact.
