At the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, TB & Malaria (GBC), Casey works to expand and increase corporate engagement on HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria through the development of technical tools, corporate best practices, and technical events and initiatives. Casey manages GBC's Case Studies Database and the annual Business Excellence Awards process, coordinates Coalition Connections Teleconferences and provides programmatic support to member companies.
Casey attended New York University's College of Art & Science, where she studied Psychology, Africana Studies, History and Anthropology. While living in Accra, Ghana, Casey worked as an HIV/AIDS educator with the West Africa Aids Foundation, seeking to combat social stigma surrounding the disease (in addition to prevention and transmission education). Casey also volunteered at an orphanage and a psychiatric hospital in the area. Prior to joining GBC, she provided administrative and organizational support to the NYU Master's Program in Global Public Health.
