Tamiha is a dedicated not for profit organization founded and registered in Tanzania. The main objective of the organisation is to promote the Millenium Development Goals as is the mission of the united nations.
In Tanzania societies have been marginalised and they still live in vast poverty,disease stricken environment,illiteracy and they continue to degrade the environment. This is why we started up TAMIHA as an advocate of change and try to bring the development,combat diseases,raise the economic level and advocate the environment conservation in the quickest way posible.
TAMIHA mainly operates in Tanzania. we started with the North region and our headquarters are around arusha area. we then expanded further into rural central ares where the problems are critical.
To seein the marginalized communities improve their socio economic statuses fight their major three enemies being diseases,poverty and ignorance by using their surrounding resources in a sustainable and quickest way posible.
Mitigate health problems to the marginalized that lead them to diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Malaria, TB, and STIs.
Support Orphans and Vulnerable Children in identifying and solving their social and economic problems.
Promote and Develop Micro-entrepreneurship and rural technology skills with emphasis on widows and other marginalised groups of women who live in difficulties,so that they can attain economic independence.
Provide Care and Support to People Living with HIV/AIDS.
Conduct Researches, Academic and Professional debates on issues addressing Millennium Goals.
